Born and raised in New York, Joel was a standout baseball pitcher in high school and was recruited by the California Angels, though he chose to accept a baseball scholarship to the University of Maryland instead. After college, Joel started his career in sports marketing and event sponsorship sales, working with top sports organizations including the NBA, Washington Bullets, Jose Cuervo Beach Volleyball, and many others.

Joel moved on to excel in advertising sales and publishing, holding management roles with the leading website for law enforcement in the USA, technology consulting firms, and satellite communications for the aviation industry, so his marketing and advertising skills are incomparable.

Joel is married to Carol E. Levy, the love of his life, and together they have eight incredible children. An active member of the community, Joel enjoys contributing his time and efforts to various local charities and programs.
